Awareness on 3D Design & Printing Technologies
With the objectives to increase print production of 3D objects as well as marketing of the 3D Printing Centres, NCB is embarking on 3D Design and Printing Technologies awareness sessions in colleges for grade 10 to 13 students.
Further to these awareness sessions, students wishing to use 3D technology for their SC or HSC projects will be provided with sustained help in both the design and retouching of their designs through appropriate software and the physical printing and build of the designs.
The purpose of these awareness sessions is to encourage students sitting for “Design and Technology” to adopt 3D technology for implementation of their assignments and make use of the free services offered by the 3D Printing Services.
The first session was held on the 5 March 2020 at Phoenix SSS for 150 students and on 9 March 2020 at College du St Esprit for 55 students.
