Girls in ICT 2022 Awards Ceremony

 

 

In the context of International Girls in ICT Day, the NCB in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology and Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation organised 4 Boot Camps during the Easter School Holidays targeting students of secondary schools of Grade 10 – 12 which were conducted over 2 days.

An award ceremony held at the Caudan Arts Centre, Port-Louis on the 21st July 2022 to reward the winners of these boot camps. The winning schools are: Pamplemousses State Secondary School (Zone 1), Queen Elizabeth College (Zone 2), Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College (Zone 3), and Sodnac State Secondary School (Zone 4).

The Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Mrs Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, the Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation (ICT), Mr Deepak Balgobin, Mrs Kobita Jugnauth, the Chairman of the National Computer Board (NCB), Mr Dhurma Soburrun and other personalities were present during this event.
